Description

The company is situated among the hills, in the heart of the area where the Morellino DOC wine is produced. This is an area of 60 hectares, where you can find olive groves, vines, cultivations of cereal and pastures.

Cattle are reared in the area, and during the summer and spring time, while you enjoy relaxing walks , they can often be seen grazing in the meadows. The walks have designated pathways, that from the farm house lead directly to an unspoilt oak wood, in the middle of the Mediterranean maquis, where you can lose yourself in the beauty of nature, forget about the city chaos and enjoy your holidays.

The Macchia Piana farmhouse has five double bedrooms, which all have a private bathroom, TV, refrigerator and independent heating. There is also a living room, open to all guests, furnished with the tools that were once used on the farm, and an ancient fireplace to warm your winter evenings.

A kitchenette is also at the disposal of our guests, as well as a laundry and a wood-burning oven. You will also have the chance of buying typical products of our area, Maremma, and our home produced extra virgin olive oil, which you will also have the chance to taste before purchase. Outside the house are vast terraces that offer spectacular views of a striking and picturesque landscape.
